About The Wave Project

The Wave Project is an award-winning charity that provides an innovative way to improve mental health and well-being (through surfing, mentoring and social integration) for children and young people who have a mental health issue, physical disability and/or learning disability. We support over 800 vulnerable children and young people each year across our projects in Scotland, Wales, North East, South West and South of England which rely on over 400 dedicated volunteers

WHAT YOU COULD WIN

1st: 7night Surf Camp in France for two with Feral Surf Tours
Want to really indulge yourself in the ways of a surfer, hone your skills at the Feral Surf Camp, be ready to hit the waves on your own and take in some of the French culture? One lucky winner and their bestie will be hitting beach and waves in the Bordeaux region of France. This awesome prize includes 7 x night’s accommodation, 6 x 90 min surf lessons, Equipment, Breakfast, lunch evening meals and airport transfers. Holiday can be taken throughout summer 2018, availability allowing.

2nd: Surf Snowdonia Stay & Activity for Two
One lucky winner will win a one night glamping experience for 2people with breakfast, hot tub and sauna at Surf Snowdonia Adventure Parc in the beautiful North Wales national park. This awesome prize also includes 30 minutes beginner lesson in the Surfing Academy, plus an hour on their 300 metre lagoon with one of their highly trained instructors. Prize is claimable during 2018 off-peak season, Monday to Thursday, availability allowing.

3rd: Snugg Made to Measure Wetsuit
Want to be Snugg this winter? Snugg wetsuits are tailored made to your exact dimensions and individually hand crafted by their dedicated team, you can be assured of an excellent fit. One lucky prize winner will look great and feel toastie in a 5-4-3mm made to measure winter wetsuit by Snugg.

4th: Zulu#8 Longboard by Northern Dawn Surfboards
Northern Dawn Surfboards are offering one lucky prize winner their very own Zulu#8 Longboard. Shorter at 8ft, designed for cruising and gliding along the wave face with little effort, it’s fun, stable and ideal for the Surfer who wants the Longboard feel but without the size. Ride it as a Single fin or with sidebytes the Zulu#8 is versatile.

5th: Fatsticks Bamboo Paddleboard
One lucky prize winner will bag a Fatsticks 7ft paddleboard. Great for flat water paddling and surf; lakes, rivers, ocean. This board’s light weight design and smaller dimensions allows children to safely progress by allowing them to carry the board independently and surf/paddle it effectively. For the more advanced adult paddleboarder…it’s a great wave board. Everyone should have one!  Board dimensions: 7ft 4″ x 29″ x 4″ (approx. 90 litres volume).

6th: Catherine Ennor Animal Portraiture
Catherine Ennor is an accomplished animal portrait artist. One lucky prize winner will receive a custom 50x30cm oil on canvass. Prize will be claimable during January to April 2018. Piece will be painted from photograph as supplied by prize winner.

7th: Toby Ray limited edition print ‘Porthleven’
Limited edition Giclée framed print by Cornish artist Toby Ray. Toby’s contemporary artwork is inspired by the coastline between Crantock and Constantine: ”I’ve lived by the sea my whole life.” says Toby, “It’s been one constant source of inspiration in my artwork for as long as I can remember. Waves in particular continue to be the main focus in many of my paintings.”. The print is a limited edition of only 30 and signed by the artist. Size 28 x 36cms framed.

  2. The draw opens for entries at 28/04/17 and closes for entries at 02/01/18

  3. There are 7 prizes available to be won in the draw as stated on this Website 

  4. Terms & Conditions
    - Employees of The Wave Project may not enter the Annual Draw
    - Tickets can only be sold to persons over the age of 18.
    - Closing date Monday 1st January at 10pm
    - The draw will take place on Tuesday 2nd January 2018 with winners informed after the closing date.
    - The Annual Draw is open for entries internationally, but The Wave Project can only cover postage within the UK.
    - Prizes are subject to prize givers Terms and conditions.
    - Holiday bookings are subject to availability
    - Prizes are as stated and no alternatives, cash or otherwise, are available.
    - The Wave Project will not share your information with any third parties.
