About Galapagos Conservation Trust

Thanks to Charles Darwin, the Galapagos Islands are well known for their unique animals and plants. Isolated 1,000km off the coast of Ecuador. Galapagos and its resident wildlife and ecosystems are fragile and with increasing human impact are extremely vulnerable to change. Since 1995, the Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) has worked closely with organisations in Galapagos and the UK to support a wide range of conservation projects, protecting the Islands for future generations.
